It's about time....

It's about time we get some attention for the pain and suffering our children and our families have been through. After dealing with personality disorders, bipolar and addiction that my daughter has suffered from I am FED UP!! For years I thought I just had a child that was stubborn, determined, feisty and demanding. She had so many positive sides to her that it was hard to see that there was something wrong or missing. Eventually, she figured it out too. She started to self medicate before she was 20 and from there it just snowballed into addiction and more. I believe there is something we can do. Certainly, we are not the only parents to deal with an issue years after our children were born. Statutes of limitations are in place for a reason. But I believe there is something we can do to help our kids to get treatment, etc. It's time to go after the company that sold and manufactured the drug. Maybe it's time to recall who was in charge of the FDA at the time as well. We can get creative, think outside the box. Many of us have children suffering from multiple issues and addiction is very common as well. Let's look at other avenues to make this happen.
